X ray Pictures are not very clear .
But if it is hairline fracture , there is possibility of trying out plaster but if injury is more than hairline , may have to go for surgery .
In your case , my opinion is don't go on random advice , follow one particular experienced orthopaedic surgeon and follow him for whole procedure to avoid future consequences.
