Knee crepitus
I am a student and i am only 19 years old. I am doing weightlifting from past 5 months and recently i began getting popping and crunching sounds from my knees as i do full deep squat. What is this problem? Is it harmful?

This is because of muscle weakness , you should first strengthen your quads , hams , glutes musle and then gradually progress to full squats Otherwise it may lead to early arthritis if not treated on time

If your posture is not proper while doing squats, then obviously knee begins to give you trouble. Take proper calcium rich diet and do exercises in proper posture.

How many repetitions of squatting ur doing daily u didn't mention sir,over usage of muscles leads to strain and cause pain So erosion of cartilage sounds will come in case of early arthritis Take proper amount of calcium in ur diet. Better have a consultation with ur nearby physiotherapy clinic.
