Klebsiella pneumoniae in vaginal swab
Im in my 5th month pf pregnancy ,G2A1(becoz of cervical incompetent -PPROM) now in this pregnancy done with cerclage at 12weeks ,2weeks back had mild thin white discharge -vaginal swab showed K.pneumoniae and urine culture showed E.coli so doctor gave me IV ceftriaxone 1g iv for 3 days now for the past 7-10days im having white specs and mucus in urine but no vaginal discharge ,But i have mild vaginal itching ! Does ceftriaxone 3days course enough to get rid of k.pneumoniae in Vagina !im worried since i had PPROm and lost my baby last time

Antibiotics should be given after culture sensitivity
So your doctor would have given you ceftriaxone looking at the sensitivity
