Sir recently my bp get sudden high 164/106 then then I visited to cardiologist my echo tmt was normal he gives me lodoz 5 mg placida 10 and nexitoplus 5 mg now my bp fluctuate but stable..Then some one told me to test creatinine coz I have family history of kidney disease my creatinine was 1.29 and urni ra test also normal do I need further test or not?

As you had family history, do life style modifications like maintain adequate weight, avoid smoking and take low salt. Get repeat creatinine in a good lab as it may vary. Try to buy automatic bp apparatus and monitor yourself weekly twice.If still bp fluctuations occur and not getting controlled consult online
