My mother have kidney stone in right kidney with chronic UTI which is multi drug resistant. Her right kidney is smaller in size with loss of corticomedullary differentiation. Her kidney function reports show that right kidney is functioning only 20% with gfr ~ 12. She is hypertensive since last 15 years.

Control her bp strictly...treat her uti...her right kidney is almost non functional...however if her lt kidney is normal, then the should not be a problem...most important is to avoid uti in future..
