Kidney stone
I have been detected with stone in my right kidney of 3.9mm ,I am working in merchant navy need to remove it immediately asap before joining back.please suggest.

3.9 mm calculus in the kidney may remain asymptomatic for years together.only medical treatment is advisable to such a tiny stone .removal too is quite difficult as it is usually very difficult to seek such a tiny calculus inside kidney which is a solid organ.
RIRS is one modality to be suggested if removal is tried for administrative reason though medical recommendation is of medical treatment alone.
