Kidney not working
Hi. My mother have kidney issues and we have gone through dialysis 5 times till date. Need to know about kidney transplant and need to know is there any alternative excluding dialysis to maintain creatinine level as her latest creatinine level was 7. In last week it was 13.

If the serum creatinine has gone above 8mg, then she has end stage renal failure. For it either patient should be on dialysis or need to have renal transplant. There are no other permanent alternative treatment available. When she is fit to undergo renal transplant, it's the best treatment possible. However when she's not fit, then maintenance hemodialysis is the best option for her
