When I was growing up I was constantly getting bladder and
kidney infections and now, as an adult I am questioning how they came to be. I remember being given vaginal suppositories quite frequently and am wondering if and why one would treat a bladder or kidney infection in that way in a young child, or rather if these could have been the cause of the infection in the first place. I was probably around the age of 5 or 6. In case you can't figure it out, I'm trying to get to the bottom of whether or not there may have been some abuse going on due to some unnerving memories that have come up and now as I'm an adult. I was seen regularly at Boston Children's Hospital, but nothing ever seems to be wrong with me other than I kept getting these infections. I was on medication orally up until I was about 12 because i wet the bed and then all of a sudden we just stopped going to the doctor for it and I magically was fine other than the bedwetting which stopped much later. Curious, right?
