Kidney function
Hi i recently did my kidney function test
All values are within normal range except uric acid. What to do for normal uric acid.
Is there any problem with my kidneys.
Please help
Urea - 31.7 mg/dl
Blood urea nitrogen - 14.81 mg/dl
Creatinine - 0.81 mg/dl
egfr - 118 ml/min/1.73m2
URIC ACID - 7.25 mg/dl

Keep yourself hydrated well. Visit dietician and modify your diet accordingly. Reduce your weight, if you are overweight. If it still remains high, you can be started upon drugs to lower uric acid. Otherwise at this stage, your kidneys are fine.
