Kidney dialysis
Male.age 65 hiv+ from 20 years on maintenance tablet . Kidney dialysis started from December 2023 15th Day by day dialysis. Creatine levels reached less than 2.8 in tests. Can he stop dialysis and maintain on drugs ?

Hi It is not possible to stop dialysis for a patient on dialysis for 20 years. It is unlikely he will have any residual renal function to sustain without dialysis.
