I have a keloid skin type. So whenever I bruise myself or have a burn or a cut, my skin forms keloids.
I'm looking to get a tattoo done. I want to know if my skin will form keloids after the procedure. Does the same mechanism work here, the one that happens after I get a cut or a burn?

Hi,
Definitely avoid getting a tattoo! There is a high chance of you developing a keloid at the site. Keep this mind also before opting for elective surgeries.
Take care,
