Juvenile Myoclonic Epilep
Hello, I am 27 years old male and i have been diagnosed with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy 5 years ago after which my doctor started my medication which is vat cr 500 tablets 2 no.s per day. After taking those tablets for almost a year and a half i stopped them. I was fine untill last couple of months but suddenly one day i had the seizure again and now the doctor has ordered me to start the same medicine again. I have a habbit of drinking couple of beer pints on the weekends i just wanted to know how will this habbit effect me in long run! Is it fine to have a couple of beer pints on the weekends or should i completely say no to alcohol.

I don't think Beer has any interaction with disease. You yourself can observe whether attack happens after consuming Beer. However, you must be careful to stay in safe environment after consuming Beer. However, your treating Physician should be consulted.
