A moving or pulling sensation in front of the ear with head heaviness can sometimes be related to muscular tension (especially of the jaw or temporomandibular joint), nerve sensitivity, or anxiety-related somatic sensations. Since the CT scan is normal, serious structural causes are unlikely.
Next Steps
Encourage your mother to practice gentle relaxation techniques, avoid jaw clenching or excessive chewing, and maintain good posture. Stress management can also reduce such pulling or heaviness sensations.
Health Tips
If the discomfort continues, it would be helpful to consult both an ENT specialist (to rule out ear/jaw-related causes) and a psychologist (to address stress or anxiety components). Keeping a symptom diary may also give more clarity about when and why it worsens.
First of all, you must visit a neurologist for the findings that are present in CT brain ,
After rule out of major physical cause if any, you must seek consultation to Psychiatrist
The thought process that you have mentioned definitely is a symptom that is persistent and irrational for others, but for the patient she may be firm on her belief
*Duration for this symptom, age of the patient and other associated symptoms need to be assessed for reaching a diagnosis*
Do not worry, you must plan a consultation for a Neurologist first, psychiatrist for detailed assessment
With medication, this symptom will definitely improve
