Jaw Problem

My mother facing saviour pain in ear, after deep investigation ENT specialist noticed this could be a problem in left jaw, as he said "this pain is may be causing due to jaw joint, as she habitually eating food left side due to swelling of muscles she may getting pain in ear." As I noticed she don't have teeth right side, now we need a specialist doctor who can investigate this problem into deep and replace the removed teeth.

It seems like she has developed tm joint disorder.Missing teeth may b the cause of this problem. However other probable causes should also be eliminated before coming to the conclusion. Replacing missing teeth is always recommended which might help solving her tmj issue. It will also help increasing chewing efficiency.If she is in a good health condition dental implants may b the ideal solution to replace her missing teeth. Meanwhile she can start joint physiotherapy, muscle relaxants, local anti-inflammatory gel application to get symptomatic relief.

It could be tmj isssue or third molar problem or incorrect jaw relation kindly see a dentist to diagnose and cure the prob

Hi there ....I think she has some TMJ problem.. You should consult a oral surgeon and a prosthodontist for this evaluation and further treatment... Meanwhile u can give her some muscle relaxant... Take care...!!

Hi..yes it's true that when you don't have teeth on one side, you use other side. As a result you will TMJ problem. It must have happened same in your mother's case. First replace missing teeth followed by TMJ evaluation from dentist. Regards

Missing teeth on one side and chewing from opposite side for long duration may affect musculature of jaws and cause myofacial pain dysfunction syndrome it will subside with combination treatment with replacement of teeth and muscle relaxant drugs and excercises , pain disappear gradually
