Jaw Joint Mild Pain and "kat" sound
A week before I woke up with a mild pain below my left ear and jaw joint. Over the day pain increased and by evening I was not able to open up mouth more than two - three inches. Headed to the office nurse and got pain killer, that reduced pain but I hear a "kat" sound each time i move my jawline / open mouth a little wide.

immediately visit an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. Most probably your joint muscles have been pulled and that is giving a clicking sound. he will suggest u some muscle relaxants and excersices that can correct your problem. remember it is very easy to correct only in earlier stages if late then u have to go for many procedures. not threatening u but warning u.
