Hepatitis B and hepatitis C came -ve even Normal sonography report came liver,Gall bladder, pancreas, both kidneys all are Normal in size . Doctor told me its due to viral hepatitis or A due to eating of contaminated food or water. Even I used to eat non veg of outside by swiggy zomato a lot. Latest report of my billirubin came was 1.59 from 7.48 it's decreasing but Sgpt level have increased from 5 to 101 even Sgot is 60. Does increase in sgpt is matter of concern?? When I can do physical exertion and eat normal foods or non veg. I'm attaching my reports too with it. Also itchiness is intense. Plz Guide.

AST (SGOT) is normally found in a variety of tissues including liver, heart, muscle, kidney, and the brain. It is released into the serum when any one of these tissues is damaged. For example, AST level in serum is elevated in heart attacks or with muscle injury. It is therefore, not a highly specific indicator of liver injury as its elevation can occur as a result of other injured tissues. ALT (SGPT) is, by contrast, normally found largely in the liver. This is not to say that it is exclusively located in the liver, but that is where it is most concentrated. It is released into the bloodstream as the result of liver injury. Thus, it serves as a fairly specific indicator of liver status. So ur sgpt levels means liver is still in bad place. U can consult me online and i can help u out for full recovery soon
