What are the most effective food to eat for faster recovery from jaundice (bilirubin level 15.3) and what must be avoided? Can one eat eggs, bananas, bread and roti? What all vegetables can be given to a jaundice patient?

Please avoid all non vegetarian foods and eggs , and become a pure vegetarian. Sugar candy helps to get relief from jaundice fast. "the medicine for jaundice is that sugar. Modern science prescribes this, and it is prescribed in the Vedic literature also. So if we take a great quantity of this sugar candy, then we will be relieved from jaundice." - coutesy IDT
