Hi 30f.i am on carbimazole 10 mg then 5mg Since Nov. I had elevated liver enzymes In FEB they were normal and my ultrasound in Nov was normal. I heard carbimazole causes jaundice. I am very much worried if I should continue carbimazole or not for Hyperthyroidism. If liver damage is there with medicine why is it prescribed are there no other medications apart from that. PLZ respond I am very much worried. I am already on carbimazole since 4 months. I was using udiliv and also some ayurvedic medication for my liver as they were elevated in Nov and Dec alkaline phosphatase was 224 in Dec and in Feb it was 120
