Asked for Male, 62 Years

Sir, My father is 62 years old and was having 101'C fever 5 days ago and he was feeling very very weak. So, we had taken him to the hospital where doctors had prescribed for liver test reports. My father has "Total bilirubin - 1.63mg/dl", "Direct B- 0.71", "SGOT 70 IU/L", "SGPT 64" and "alkaline phosphatase 303.0 IU/L"in his blood report. Please tell if he is having jaundice or not. Now, the fever has gone but weakness is still there.

The liver function tests are mildly abnormal. This can happen with any infection but there is a small possibility of a stone in the bile duct or a tumour obstructing the bile duct. You should get an ultrasound of the upper abdomen.
