My new born is 4 days old. Baby is 4 days old and bilirubin is 13.2. Pls suggest if it is dangerous. What can be done. Thanks.

D4 baby 13.2 bilirubin...either it will be in phototherapy range i.e...may require phototherapy..or in High risk zone...I.e may be need strict monitoring... If appropriately feeding and if required phototherapy was not administered may land up in blood exchange and fits and neurological problem Jaundice should be assessed with background history. So consult Pediatrician or neonatologist

Please get it repeated after a day may require phototherapy get g6pd and tsh also done
