Jaundice in babies
My 3 months old daughter is suffering from jaundice.Yesterday jaundice was diagnosed. She is exclusively on breast feed.Today doctor asked me not to give her breastmilk.He also advised Hb and pbf test.I am attaching both the reports. I am worried for her.is there anything to worry.

Neonatal jaundice being a physiological jaundice should settle by 6 weeks at the maximum.
In your case both Direct and indirect bilirubin is increased.
Your baby requires a physical examination and need to rule out other causes of jaundice.

Hi there.
Jaundice is unlikely at this age of the child.
The Cause has to be completely evaluated and diagnosed.
Needs an complete and urgent attention, and more tests.
As there is wide array of possibilities which are difficult to diagnose remotely , it has to be guided by many tests , may need hospitalisation , if it is increasing.
