My mother complains of itch in her throat and she coughs whenever she eats something. It is dry cough. There is no pain or visible swelling. Do I need to consult an ENT doctor or a general physician?

Itchy throat can be due to Allergy to some food or Gastritis or Any other obvious chronic infection.
