Itchy and swollen eyelids
I have been having itchy and bumpy eyelids for the past 2 weeks. Before that they were scaly and dry. I took allegra for 5 days and I now apply flutivate e cream..but there is not much relief. The bumps have almost gone, but the eyelids are still dark and itchy. I don't use make-up, so I'm not sure what caused this. Can you pls advise?

Yor suffering from squamous blepharitis. White scally deposit on lid like dandruff is called squamous blepharitis leading to thickness of eye lid, fall of eye lashes ,redness & itching of eye due to allergic reaction to these materials. This scally deposit is soluble in sodium bicarbonate( mitta soda).take a glass of water in bowel( katora),put a pinch of mitta soda along with small amount of cotton& boil it,& let it cool to bearable temperature & wash eye lids with cotton in front of glass ,lids will be cleaned because dandruff material is soluble in mitta soda, let the lids dry& apply optithrocin eye ointment & oflo BM eye ointment 3-4 times in day on lid margin with clean index finger. You should do it daily at least for month then alternate days & gradually decreasing the frequency. For dandruff in scalp you should use Nuforce Anti lotions( shampoo) available on Medical shop at once week.
