Itchy and puffy eyes

Asked for Female, 15 Years

Starting from around this time last week I started to form a stye in my left eye and it began to make my eye swallow and puffy and was passed onto my right eye that did the same thing. In the mornings it’s hard to open my eyes and it’s really sore to touch, meaning that it is also hard to clean. I went to the doctors on Monday and got some chloramphenicol eye drops that wasn’t making much dkfference so I went back today and I was prescribed with chlorphenamine tablets but my eyes are very sore

Styes are infection of Moll & zeis gland present in every body eye lids ,basically infected by staphylococci.styes are very painful swelling near the root of eye lashes, you need oral antibiotics&anti inflammatory tablet as well as antibiotic ointment to apply locally.Hot fomentation helps to some extent in styes.
