Itching on sides of the labia

Asked for Female, 49 Years

My mother is having severe itching and erythema on the sides of her labia majora and sides of her legs. Her menopause happened 5 years ago and her medical conditions are RA and hypothyroidism for which she takes daily medications. Could you suggest the prognosis?
