This sounds like a urinary tract infection or a vaginal irritation, which is quite common in young girls. It usually occurs due to poor hygiene, holding urine for an extended period, or sometimes due to a mild bacterial or fungal infection. In some cases, frequent urination can also be an early sign of increased blood sugar levels, so it is good that you are thinking of testing. For now, make sure she drinks plenty of water, avoids tight clothing, and keeps the area clean and dry. A simple urine routine test and a random blood sugar test will help confirm whether it is an infection or a sugar-related issue. Do not worry, these problems are easily treatable once the cause is known. You can connect with me on Practo for a one-on-one discussion about your daughter’s symptoms.
