Every itch and scratch is NOT fungal infection. It could be many other problems like dermatitis, or pyoderma etc. Zole is an antifungal ointment and it may cause burning sensations. This happens due to the cream and its antibiotic coming in contact with the abrasions on the skin caused by itching.
Next Steps
Met a dermatologist ASAP and stop self medicating yourself. Many people go to medical stores and buy any cream suggested by neighbors, or friends or the store salesman. Most of these contain steroids and they can cause harm if one keeps on using steroids for long time
