I have been having pain in my intergluetal cleft since a month and it seems like the pain is coming from beneath the skin rather than bone.
I have taken a picture, i have observed that a line like thing is present there, i have marked the start and end of the line with two red dots. Can you please help me if that is a tract beneath the skin?
GP here prescribed naproxene but it's not relieving the pain 100%.
I have done the course for 1 week, i use coccyx cushion too. I will be travelling to India most likely to get treatment, meanwhile can you please check the image?

You can try using some fudic acid+mometasone cream for a few (5-7 days).
It's better to consult always. But the skin is apparatus nrml. Pilonidal sinus doesn't appear like this.

Hello. Regards from Dr Patil.
As per your explanation & images shared, it is most likely *suggestive* of pilonidal cyst! Following are the symptoms associated with this :-
•Pain which often gets worse when you’re sitting.
•Nausea, fever and extreme tiredness (fatigue).
•A small dimple or large swollen area between your buttocks.
•An abscess with draining pus or blood. This fluid may be foul-smelling.
•You may notice the area is red and feels tender.
Next Steps
Physical examination and other diagnostic test (SOS) such as CT/MRI to confirm it thoroughly!
Health Tips
Naproxen is temporarily helping you from the pain. It isn't the final solution for this. Course of antibiotics + IND if needed has to be the line of management after clinically evaluation.
