I don't know what it is called in actual but in my state it is called yam and I think it is known as elephant yam so my question is that can heart, diabetes or an tuberculosis patient (recently diagnosed medicine has been stopped) can eat it? Is elephant yam is good for heart patient?

Elephant yam can be eaten by heart, Diabetes or tuberculosis patient. For good heart health balanced diet is very imp. a single food will not help. Also sweet potato can be consumed by diabetic as it is rich in fiber
