Is this Blood Glucose level ok?
Have checked my mother's Blood Glucose level today using Accu-Chek.
It came out as 147 (slightly above ideal 130), before having anything in the morning and 161 (below 180 limit), 2 hrs after having lunch.
Considering my mother has stopped taking a tablet to control sugar from last 2-3 days, does today's test conclude that she doesn't need to take that tablet anymore?

No. It will keep on rising furthur if she stops the medicines. Instead of stopping treatment altogether, you can discuss with your doctor regarding reducing the dose, especially if shes having any side effects of the medicines.
