Dear Doctor,
Due to a certain amount of stinging pain I had been experiencing in the last few months alongside anxiety and involuntary twitching of my right lip I consulted a neurologist in a foreign country where I currently reside. The doctor had me get an MRI and EEG and concluded that the MRI came clean whereas the EEG showed signs of epilepsy. I am currently intaking rivotril to manage my situation but due to language barriers we decided to check in with an indian Doctor. As per the other doctor's assessment my diagnosis is just stress and not
epilepsy. I am confused as my family keeps advising me to not take rivotril anymore even though it brings me instant relief when in pain in the back of my forehead. Attaching my EEG scan. Is this epilepsy or something else? Thanks.
