Is there any patch skin test
I am a mother of a 10 year old girl. My daughter has landed up with red patches on her skin all over the body since the last 4 days. She has now been advised a patch skin test. What is this test exactly? What would it indicate and how long does it take?

Patch skin test is a procedure when we apply tiny amounts of chemical onto the back and look for an allergic response if it develops in the patient. After applying the chemical it has to be again checked on the second day fifth day and seventh day after the application the chemical. It is done at my clinic and if you want you can drop by for the procedure.. Hope this is helpful
