I have been suffering from floaters for the last 5-6 years but in the past year I've experienced a sudden onset of quite a large number of floaters(no flashes as of now). Only way to get rid of floaters is to avoid them
I do have one floater in my left eye but it does not bother me now as i have learned to avoid it
Vitreolysis is described as a procedure but seldom performed in practise
