Is saturated fats good for health?
In coconut 🥥 huge percent of saturated fats..Is consuming saturated fats necessary? 1) what is saturated fats and unsaturated fats 2) Is it necessary for body to intake fats Please clarify about saturated and unsaturated fats & whether it's a good or bad also?please clarify sir/madam

Fat plays a big role in our body. It helps us to survive during prolonged mental and physical stresses, sickness and prolonged starvation. Fat is stored as adipose tissue in body which is used in extreme cases to provide energy. It is only nutrient that help us to survive in toughest phase of our life. 1 gram fat provide 9 kcal/gm Fat can be divided in following categories Saturated, Unsaturated Fat and Transfat Saturated Fat- These are solid at room temperature like butter, animal fats, milk and milk products, coconut, palm oil and ghee. In short animal fats are tough on body while fat found in dairy product are easily absorbed. Unsaturated Fat-It is very crucial in maintaining health of heart, further divided into 2 groups MUFA- . Oleic acid, a component of MUFA is good for skin & hair. Example peanut oil, rice bran oil, olive oil. PUFA- Comes in two types: Omega 3and Omega 6 which found in all type of vegetable oil, flaxseed, walnuts and oils in fish. TRANSFAT- It is rightly called bad fat as it increases the levels of low density lipo-protein or bad cholesterol in our body. It is commonly used by restaurants, fast food chains and companies that produce food on large scale for commercial purposes , as it is cheaper. Examples- cake, biscuits, pizza, burger, fries etc.

Hello! Have healthy fat foods like fish,etc. You can also have olive oil,sunflower oil etc. 10 ml of oil per day is ok for a normal being. Avoid all kind of processed  foods as they are high in tras fats. Stay hydrated.It will help you to stay away from food cravings. Stay blessed. Thankyou. !

Saturated fat are solid at room temperature like desi ghee, yogurt full fat milk cream etc. though these fats are essential as well for our body but need to be taken in proper quantity not excess. Unsaturated fat are liquid at room temperature like wise vegetable oil, fish and nuts. Both Saturated and unsaturated fats can be a part of healthy diet if consumed in moderation and as per the requirement of a person.

Hi, Saturated fats remain solid at room temperature like butter, ghee, coconut oil. While unsaturated fats remain liquid at room temperature. Some saturated fats in restricted quantity are good & essential for the body like desi ghee. While there are some unsaturated fats like Omega-3 fatty acid, which is good for heart health improving cholesterol levels.

Gud evening saturated fats are not a healthy option rather try to have Healthy or good fats rich foods such as nuts n roasted seeds, fatty fish like salmon, tuna etc which is healthy for heart health to maintain. Try to use olive oil for cooking purpose.
