Is my strep throat getting better or...?
I've been having strep throat more than a week! Diagnosed 2 days before Christmas and even with amoxicillin it doesn't feel like much has changed! White patches in the back of throat, little red streaks with purple veins, sometimes foamy spit. Constantly clearing throat and it feels like I'll never see the day it'll feel the same! :(

You seem to be suffering from acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a common type of throat infection. You may need to take better antibiotics and painkillers along with antiseptic mouth gargle for few days for faster recovery
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
