Do I need to undergo MRI. My endocrinologist asked me to get prolactin and 1-1000 Dilution test in fasting if its abnormal he asked me to get MRI else no need of MRI. Is prolactin level 38.9 serious does this need an MRI. I donot want to get unnecessary tests or Scans as in past I have done unnecessary Ct Scans and Xrays. In no i have done head Xray ut was normal. PLZ suggest. Or taking cabergoline will solve the problem or MRI is necessary for this level of prolactin. I am very much worried plz respond tha k u.
