Is monocular vision a disability?
I have monocular vision, reason is that i had retinoblastoma and my left eye was removed completely My question is that, does this account for disability? I want to work for automotive manufacturing company Does this make me unfit under disability conditions to work for a MNC Manufacturing Company? Please help

It comes under 30% disability.You can be employed ,if the company agrees for 30% disability. Pl consult ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.

You can get disability certificate of visual impairment of 30%. You can get more, if the vision in your right eye is less than 6/6 with glasses.

Yes it does accounts for disabiltiy. According to government criteria one eye person is issued 30% disability permenant handicap certificate.
