Is Levothyroxine 75ug dosage too much?
I am currently in my 9th week of pregnancy. I got my first blood check up done on 28.07.2023 (7th week). The reports we found out only last Wednesday (after 10 days) that my TSH value was 4.92 (should be less than 2.5 for pregnancy). Is it bad? I don't have any prior hypothyroidism history. In the last checkup we did in April 2022 my TSH values were 2.07. What is the usual L-Thyroxine dosage you recommend for such cases?According to the report, I should start with 75ug daily. I was worried if it is too much. Is it a lot? Thanks a lot

The dose of Thyroid hormone is decided by titration. That means we do the Thyroid profile test repeatedly and change the dose of Thyroid hormone accordingly.
