Some patients who have sensitive skin tend to develop redness and rash after waxing the face. If your skin is sensitive then it is better to avoid it as it can precipitate an irritant reaction. Also when applying certain creams especially for acne treatment the skin tends to become thin and the reaction to waxing occurs more commonly so I will need details of any ongoing treatment if present. When females have have Hirsutism (male type distribution of facial hair) a hormonal workup is recommended to try to identify the underlying cause. also sometimes certain medication can also precipitate it. You can contact me through private online consult so I can get more details and advise you the test that you need to do. Hope this is helpful.
