I have been tested positive for covid. What main I have observed in myself is that I get irritated very easily.Is this a kind of covid related stress syndrome?

Hi, it is natural for you to feel stressed. It is important for you to take care of yourself. Drink good amount of water, eat healthy foods packed with nutrients and vitamins, and get plenty of rest. Try to keep your mind as calm as possible by listening to music, or reading a book.
Consult a psychologist if you are feeling too stressed or lonely.

Generally, when one is ill, one tends to get irritable. So is it normal to feel irritated as you battle with Covid - yes! Your immune system is down, you are struggling with an illness, you will experience irritation!

1. Practice deep breathing.
2. Try to meditate once a day.
3. Bring awareness to yourself - is there anything in particular that is making you irritated.
4. Focus on your thoughts - are you experiencing Covid related fears or anxiety.
5. If the answer to 3 or 4 is "yes", remind yourself that you are young, which means you should recover soon. So engage in positive self talk.
