Irregular menstrual cycle

Asked for Female, 47 Years

I am 47 with having regular menstrual cycles; however I have been having a cycle since the 10th of July up until today with a heavy flow. The past few days have been light. My concern is the length of my cycle and the heaviness with clots. Could it be pre-menapausol or stress?
