Irregular bridge setting causing pain
I needed a bridge for missing 1st molar tooth supported by premolar and 2nd molar. Dentist instructed his trainee to crop my adjacent teeth but she misinterpreted it and cropped my both premolar teeth. Then dentist placed the cantilever bridge taking support of both premolar teeth only.I am unable to eat anything from this side as it causes pain and I fear that it would damage my underneath cropped premolar teeth.could any please help me. Thanks

sometimes minor adjustments(reducing the high points) on the bridge itself will settle ur pain if not settling might RCt of the cropped teeth and sometimes need to take support from the back tooth as well

If your both premolars have already been cut, they anyway have to be included in the bridge. Cantilever bridges are not ideal. For a more balanced distribution of pressure your 2nd molar should be included in the bridge. However the pain could be because the bridge is high. Adjusting your bite may relieve the discomfort
