Intestinal problem
I had an antibiotic course for an infection in throat. One day after having my medication I got gas. It was night so I went to sleep. Next morning I woke up with huge fever and rumbling in my stomach. Went I went to the toilet I had mucus and blood coming out of the rectum without stool. It wasn't a lot. The fever spiked and I started vomiting. I went to hospital. They gave me paracetamol and medicine to prevent vomiting. They also gave me enterogermina vials. Mucus and blood disappeared within 2 days. What was the problem? Did it affect my intestine.

They should have got your stool culture sensitivity done as well. It could have been some bacterial or parasitic infection.  If your symptoms are okay Now and you don't have any problem then nothing needs to be done.  If the symptoms persist, it is important to have a detailed examination and investigations done to come to a conclusive diagnosis
