Intestinal metaplasia
.Had recent biopsy and these are findings Pre-pyloric gastritis with intestinal metaplasia. Can this be reversed? My doctor has suggested can be cancerous go for sugery. I am worried & scared ? Any recommendation what shall I do ?

You should get yourself evaluated for h pylori infection, then undergo eradication therapy. It may resolve with treatment. If no other condition is found you need screening image enhanced endoscopy with mapping biopsy every 2-3 years. Rest you may consult a gastroenterologist with your reports.

Pre-Pyloric gastritis needs to be treated now with drugs. Metaplasia needs to be followed up !
