INSULING INCREASING
My Mother age 52 taking regularly medicines i.e amaryl 1 and voglitor md 0.3 one each before breakfast and dinner, galvus met 50/1000 one after lunch and dinner and mixtard 30/70 - 30 unit before breakfast and 20 unit before dinner.. After taking all these medicines for daibates my mother sugar level is still high.. Fasting is 230 and pp is 342 and hba1c is 10.01... Can't understand what to do...

Diabetes is a chronic progressive disease....so its quiet common for a long duration diabetics to experiences such a thing. Don't worry. Recheck this..
1. low carbohydrate small frequent meal (avoid excess muri, potato, rice )
2. Good 7 hour sleep and no tension
3. Any Thyroid Problem? Weight gain in recent days
4. A lot of new good medicine available which can even replace insulin

6. Is there any exercise regime on reguar basis ?

Hello.. Her sugars are definitely not under control.. This is likely due to progressive nature of disease but diet and exercise also play important role in getting sugar control.. So if she is not following lifestyle modifications plz follow that.. At present she needs urgent control of sugar with modification of doses and also need to screen for complications..!!! Plz consult endocrinologist for same..!!

For any diabetic to b controlled first thing is to maintain diet and exercise. And usually after few
Years of diabetes any diabetics will need to b on insulin. So if sugars are still not controlled need to evaluate for other causes insulin techniques other hormonal imbalance which can also lead to uncontrolled diabetes.
