My husband has diabetes.he want to know lantus and huminsulin R will be taken before meal or after meal.how long should he take insulin before eating and afer eating.specially huminsulin R...Plz suggest timing of both insulin...

Huminsulin R should be taken 20-30 minutes before meal and Lantus should be taken at bedtime.
