Inquiry about using sutshekhar ras
Sutshekhar ras sada is used very widely for Amla pitta . I have noticed that it contains many metallic as well as herbal ingredients . Is this medicine having hot potency ?can it be used when vata , pitta related problems are associated with lot of heat in the body ?

Yes, Sutshekhar is a Ras-kalp. It's has got oxides(भस्म) in it. Hence, cannot advise for a long term Treatment. But there are several herbal medicines which can be used considering Prakruti of the patient. An adequate water intake itself can give desired results, can give even better results if combined with a proper diet chart and some exercises.
