You would firstly require an OPG (full mouth XRAY) to know the position of your wisdom tooth and you need to physically visit a dentist to get the alignment of your posterior teeth( molars) checked and know if they are impinging on your cheek mucosa and causing irritation there( frictional keratosis). Sometimes impacted wisdom teeth lead to pain during mouth opening and also problems of the Temporomandibular Joint.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist physically and go for a physical examination and a full mouth XRAY( OPG)
Health Tips
Also go for an oral prophylaxis( scaling )of your teeth.
