Injury on thumb nail
Respected Dr.,
Around 1 to 1.5 months back, my thumb got injured, and at that time, there was nothing on my nail, but from 1 week, it is uprooting from the lower nail bed. Does it will heal on its own, or should it be done by the surgical process? Please help me out. Thanking you.

U can see a healthy nail bed underneath, it will slowly grow upward to give u a healthy nail, at the same time the bruised, discolored nail grow up n slowly goes.
Nothing is required, it will take time but it becomes a new new nail.
I had a similar Lil finger nails since long time mine is fungal infection too, now it becomes new with just a remnant of bad nail.
I don't consult any one.
I add only vitamin e400 ones a day for two months.
Brand name ir evion400 one at night after dinner..

Kindly don't worry. This is a process by which the new nail forms, and it's replacing the older nail. This will not be painful, though uncomfortable to watch.
If there is pain or swelling, kindly visit a nearby dermatologist who may assess and assist you.
