Inhaler therapy is never Life long in kids like adults provided child asthma is very unstable, getting very sever attacks. Doctor do assess the progress of child on inhaler, patient is responding or not, patient is compliant or not. If child shows good response we usually taper the Medicine and stop after certain time period. Asthma is increasing in children now a days. There is no addiction to it. They're safe and the recommended treatment all over world.
